1st March 2015 – Aneta Wilmanska joins European team as Director
Aneta specialises in the area of low-carbon, renewables and energy. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of FDI and climate change related investments. She was managing Polish state climate change related investment budget during 2011-2013 and consulted renewable energy related support system.
She started her career in the Polish Ministry of Economy where she was responsible for economic policy development, including FDI, globalization, entrepreneurship and climate change. In 2008-2011, Aneta was Deputy CFO of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (governmental agency responsible for business development, support for innovation and entrepreneurship, including business environment institutions, i.e. infrastructure, technology parks and incubators, technology transfer centres, R&D).
In 2011-2013, she was Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Environment, responsible for development and supervision of financing schemes on environmental protection and climate change (incl. EU Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment, Norwegian programmes, investments financed under the Green Investment Scheme). She was also Chairperson of the Supervision Board of the National Fund of Environmental Protection and Water Management and responsible for the state environment budget.
Aneta graduated from the University of Lodz, where she obtained an M.A. in Economics (Specialisation: International Finance).
